Kettle Consultants offer a range of consultancy services to build the capacity of your organisation through and with your staff. This includes facilitation, training, workshops, mentoring and coaching, strategic learning pathways, and capability frameworks. We tailor our services to your organisation and use our expertise to identify and address key priorities.

humanitarian engagement

Communities in disaster prone contexts face enormous challenges during emergency response and recovery periods, in addition to the effects of the disaster itself. We work with local and international organisations to build understanding of international humanitarian mechanisms (such as surge deployments, Sphere standards, and UN coordination systems) in order that locals are fully enabled before, during, and after large-scale disasters, and that international surge responders are equipped to work collaboratively and inclusively.

Cross Cultural Competencies

With key experience in the humanitarian and international development sector, we are well-placed to provide workshops and training on cultural effectiveness and cultural intelligence (CQ). We work with individuals and teams to assess and build the skills required for working effectively in diverse geographical and organisational contexts.

Leadership and management

Kettle Consultants offer a range of training workshops, and coaching and mentoring services, to develop the leadership and management skills of individuals and teams. We recognise the specific challenges of the humanitarian and international development sector, and contextualise and tailor all services to the needs of individuals.

Organisational Capacity building

We work with organisations to directly analyse strategic or operational plans from the perspective of staff capacity and capability, to ensure that short and longer-term organisational objectives can be realised by a competent and able workforce. We can review, make recommendations, and work with teams to implement learning strategies that will underpin and enable wider organisational aims.
